Q: How soon before my wedding should I start looking for bridesmaid dresses?
A: You can start as soon as you become engaged (or even before he formally pops the question) since it may take some time before you decide on the dress you love. The average bride is actively looking approximately 9 months prior to her wedding, although some brides do order a year or more in advance. It's generally a good idea to have your order complete at least 6 months prior to the wedding to allow time for delivery, individual shipping, alterations and the bride's peace of mind that her plans are well in place.

Q: How long does it take for dresses to come in?
A: Typically, regular delivery of dresses is approximately 3-4 months from completion of the order although sometimes it is sooner. Guaranteed rush delivery is offered by every manufacturer ranging from 8-10 weeks to 2-4 week super rushes.

Q: Do I need to choose my gown before I can choose my bridesmaid dresses?
A: Most brides do choose their wedding gown first, but it is really not necessary unless you prefer it.

Q: How do my bridesmaids choose their size?
A: Each manufacturer has their own size chart they do not offer standard sizing. Most bridesmaids dresses run smaller than regular clothes. Dresses are not made to customer's measurements and in most cases additional tailoring is required. We will provide you with the size chart for the manufacturer you have selected as well as a bridesmaid size request form, for any local bridesmaids. We are happy to measure them in our store and assist them in choosing their size.

Once they have their measurements they can also feel free to call our store and we will be happy to give them any assistance and information aiding their size selection.
